Dance is more than physically balancing; it’s about learning to balance life. Our students learn the art of dance and they grow up learning confidence, time management and kindness.
Our dancers develop both technique and lasting friendships.
Giving back to our community audience is why we live to dance.

The Bataille Academie of the Danse was created in 1969 by Leona Bataille with a vision to energetically educate dancers through love and discipline. When Dee Dee Gallagher-Johnson took over the studio in 1988, after studying under Leona since the birth of Bataille, her goal was to continue the integrity and reputation that Leona had built and continue to enhance the studio through educated well-rounded dancers.
With a professional and personable staff of instructors constantly working to improve techniques and teaching styles, each class offered is taught around the individual needs of participating students to work toward each performance opportunity.
